Thank you.

How does 'Level One' work?

Level One is a curated co-working space; we provide a beautiful space for you to be able to do your job. You join the space as a ‘member’ (think of it as similar to joining a gym) and you use one of our hot desk, dedicated desks, private offices or studio spaces to run your business. Simple.

What does a weekly membership include?

A weekly membership at Level One include 24/7 access with code & key, high speed wifi internet (with direct optic fibre line), use of large communal area with bookable meeting room, print & scan facilities, and amenities usage with kitchen & bathroom areas.

Daily memberships are also available, please enquire for details.

What are the operating hours of 'Level One'?

If you have a weekly membership you will have 24/7 access. Although if you need anything from our team the ‘Level One’ office is open between 8am-4pm Monday to Friday.

What spaces are available? And what is included?

Is the internet fast? What is the internet speed?

Yes we have fast internet - it is a direct fibre line into our building with a 50/50 upload download speed.

Are there any noise restrictions?

As ‘Level One’ is a co-working space it is important that all users are respectful of all other tenants (and local residents) at all times.  The office and dedicated desk area is a quiet work zone - we ask that any phone calls, group meetings or chats be held in the communal or meeting areas. Ambient music will play in communal area during business hours.

Are there any printing/scanning facilities?

Yes. We have printing/and scanning facilities which can print from A6 to A3.

All users will be provided a tracking code and per page charges will apply if you exceed 80 colour pages + 200 B&W pages per month.

What about signage/branding? Can I hang my own signage up around the space?

As Level One is a curated space, we do have strict style guidelines around business signage in any area other than your own private office or desk wall area.

When signing up for a private office or studio, we will obtain your logo file for door signage. A sign noting your business name will also be listed on the exterior of the building. It is the responsibility of the individual businesses to provide clear instructions to their visitors about access.

Dedicated desk users are not able to have branded signage outside of their desk wall area.

Yes, the space has a beautiful communal space and kitchen area (with tea & coffee for you).  This area is for you to use a your wish - occasionally there will be talks/workshops/yoga classes etc within the space.

Does the space have communal areas?

We would recommend the following places for your coffee/lunch or wine fix.

  • Two Chaps - Cafe

  • Illy Hill - Cafe

  • The Henson - Pub

  • The Vic on the Park - Pub

  • Cafe 2204 - Cafe

  • Bourke St Bakery - Bakery Cafe

What is the surrounding area like?

Yes definitely! The communal area or studio room can be used for workshops and talk style events. Please get in touch with your event details.

I would like to host a workshop? Is this possible at 'Level One'?

Yes - although you will need to ensure appropriate business names and contact numbers are listed. On signing up to a membership, you must agree to the fact that Level One management can sign for your packages if required.

Can I get my parcels couriered to 'Level One'?

Visitors are always welcome to join you in the space within your private office or communal areas but please ensure you are respecting all other users of Level One with your noise or usage. It is the responsibility of the user to ensure their relevant business insurances (public liability etc) cover the type of user they bring into the space (client type and use).

The dedicated desk area is a quiet zone so all users will need to conduct meetings in the meeting room or communal area.

Am I able to bring visitors into my space?

Yes. You will be required to provided us with your public liability certificate (with a minimum value of $5 million), and if you have employees you must have a valid NSW workers compensation insurance.

‘Level One’ carries Liability and Business Personal Property insurance.  As a user, you are not required but it is strongly suggested that you carry a Renters Insurance policy to cover your own equipment while using our space as your property is not covered under our policy. That policy may cover your current residence/office, as well as the premises of ‘LevelOne’.

Do I need my own insurance to be a member in the space?

All memberships are invoiced monthly.

In order to sign up for Level One we require a four (4) week bond payment and then any weekly rent for the month you commenced (eg. if you start in second week of July you will have 2 weeks owing).  After your initial month, all invoices will arrive on the first (1st) of the month and have strict seven (7) day terms. You can pay for your invoices via EFT or credit card - all payment details are noted on the invoice.

How do I pay for my membership?

A four (4) week notice period applies for either party (user or Level One) to terminate a membership agreement.

How do I cancel my membership?

'Level One' is located at 1/70 Shepherd St Marrickville. All users of the space will need to find their own on-street parking. There is no on site parking.

If coming via public transport it is a 1.5km walk from Sydenham station, or 1.4km walk from Marrickville station. There are also a lot of bus routes coming down Addison Road or Victoria Road - both roads are only a short distance from Shepherd St.
